On the night of the most-awaited match of Brazil vs North Korea, the temperature was nearing a sub-zero chill. It happened last night at the Ellis Park Stadium in Johannesburg, South Africa. The North Korean footballers refused to buckle to Brazil’s obvious class and superiority. They eqaully matched them blow to blow in the first half but they went two goals down. Yet, they had the courage to face the second half and scored a single goal.

Brazil defeated North Korea with a final score of 2-0. This was a part of the Group G match. Following the same trend of the previous football matches, the first goal was scored in the second half of the match. First goal of the game came from the Brazilian footballer, Maicon in the 55th minute. Fellow Brazilian footballer, Elano passed the ball to Maicon who attempted a shot from an acute angle which beat North Korean goalkeeper, Myong Gyuk at his goalpost.
