Brazil vs Chile: Stupendous Win for the Brazilians

The South American football giants, Brazil won the match against Chile by 3-0. The match kicked off in Ellis Park, Johannesburg. The Brazil team scored hat trick to win over their South American rivals. Chile failed to defeat their nemesis, Brazil. The Brazilians dominated the match right from the beginning by scoring two consecutive goals in the last 10 minutes of the first half. From the Brazilian squad, Luis Fabiano and Juan did the honors. This was followed by a third goal scored by Robhino which decided stupendous victory for Dunga’s team.

Brazil defeated Chile earlier in the same Round of 16 level in 1962 and 1998 by scoring 4 goals each time. Chile had maximum ball possession but Brazil scored two gaols consecutively in the first half. The first goal was scored by Juan as he took a head shot past Bravo from Maicon’s amazing flag-kick in the 34th minute of the game. Just after 4 minutes, Luis Fabiano scored the second goal for Brazil.

The Brazil team appeared stronger and their victory got registered when Robhino attempted a shot past the left hand of Bravo to score the game’s third goal. He has scored 8 goals in 6 matches against Chile. The entire game belonged to Dunga’s team. The man of the match was Robhino, the Brazilian forward. He told that he is highly pleased that he got on the score sheet. But he expressed his elation for the victory. Now, Brazil is all set to meet Netherlands in the Quarter Final game.
